The other day my boyfriend Jake and I decided to take a little trip down to the river in our neighbouring town for a picnic. It was such great weather for it and it made me so excited for spring. I hadn't been to this place in years but as we are both now fully legal drivers we just needed an excuse to drive somewhere.
I'm a bit lazy with the whole getting outside and embracing nature type of attitude, mainly because I'm not so secretly a hater of the sun most of the time BUT this day it was more than welcome. We sat and ate snacks, read our books, took photos and I got stuck in the middle of the two metre wide river at one point and it was the most fun I'd had in a while.
ALSO, shoutout to Jake for taking these bomb pictures of me, they're all so pretty! It was also the first time he'd taken blog photos for me with other people *around* (tbh there were only 2 people down the stream for like 3 minutes but gahd), but I kept my posing on point.
